We welcome volunteers for any part of the project, whether it's helping organize events, giving tours, in-kind donations, or building the barge.  We've also listed some specific needs below.

Volunteer Needs:  
Construction Crew - we need a team that can help us build the barge for the last 2 weeks of March.  Ideally, we'd like to have a core team made of people that can volunteer for several days. Landscaping or construction experience is a plus, but not necessary.

Tour Guides - We're looking for community members, businesspeople, and others that could lead canoe and kayak tours of the Living Barge and the Duwamish. If you know a lot about the Duwamish, and have a particular perspective you'd like to share (or can give a tour in a language besides English), let us know!

Multilingual Speakers - that can help translate our materials into Spanish, Vietnamese, and other languages.
